An Idaho limited liability company is formed by filing in duplicate the Certificate of Organization for Limited Liability Company and paying the filing fee to Idaho Secretary of State. Submit the form in person, by mail or fax. The filing fee is $100. Standard processing time for paper forms is approximately one week. You may request expedited one-day processing for an additional $20. Use the Credit Card Transmittal Form when fax filing.
Qualification of a Foreign LLC in Idaho
Register your foreign LLC to do business in Idaho by filing in duplicate the Application for Certificate of Authority for Limited Liability Company with the Idaho Secretary of State, by mail, in person or fax with the $100 filing fee. Also, attach an original certificate of good standing from the home state that is dated within 90 days of filing the application.
