Form a Rhode Island LLC by submitting Articles of Organization and include the $150 state filing fee to the Rhode Island Office of Secretary of State, Division of Business Services. File the articles by mail, in person or online. Rhode Island will process filed documents in approximately one week. Include a completed copy of the Docketing Statement with the filing. You may file your certificate online and it will be processed in two days.

Register your foreign LLC to do business in Rhode Island by filing the Application for Registration to the RI Division of Business Services by mail, in person, or online. The filing fee is $250. Include a certificate of good standing that is less than 60 days old.
